Tuesday Morning Work-Got-Canceled-Yay Workout!

This morning I got a txt letting me know that I did not need to go to work today! Which is actually awesome because I wound up making more money doing work-from-home stuff anyway. Plus I saved on gas. Plus plus I have about a thousand errands to do. Plus plus plus I just didn’t wanna go.

So I decided to use some of my new-found free time today for a jog-walk. Out of curiosity, I checked out the app store for some sort of pedometer app. I found MapMyWalk.com’s iphone app (iMapMyWalk). It’s free, which is awesome because I don’t generally pay for apps ever. It has a cool website. And it tracks your walk using gps (so what if all these gps apps are creepy?). It logs your distance and your time and calculates your current and average mph. It probably does a whole bunch of other stuff that I haven’t figured out yet, too. But I like that it’s an app that syncs with the website, because sometimes I get sick of looking at stuff on that tiny screen. 

The super-cool part that I will not be using because tumblr’s privacy settings are poop, is that I can link to a map of my route (which looks like someone drew it with MSPaint). lol. 

Anyway, today’s workout was 1.11 miles. My average speed got all messed up because I pressed start before I started stretching and then went. But I spent around 20 mins out of the house, so it wasn’t the slowest mile ever walked.
